Hotels
Many DIT-MCO out-of-town customers stay at one of the following hotels where DIT-MCO has a locally negotiated rate.
The Hampton Inn Country Club Plaza is centrally located in Kansas City. To reserve a room at the DIT-MCO discounted rate of $120.00/night (plus tax), call (816) 448-4600 or book on-line using the DIT-MCO Corporate ID number (560053540) in the special accounts portion of the reservation form. The Hampton Inn & Suites Kansas City-Country Club Plaza hotel is in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri's world famous "Plaza", the shopping, dining and entertainment district. Guests enjoy the following complimentary items: On the HouseTM hot breakfast, Hampton's On the RunTM breakfast bags (Monday-Friday), high speed internet access in every room, wireless internet access in the lobby, meeting rooms and public areas, coffee and tea in the lobby 24 hours a day, and USA Today(R) copies Monday-Friday. Hampton also offers a 24 hour front desk, message and fax service.
The HIlton Garden Inn is located just off Interstate-70 on the east side of Kansas City. This area offers 12 different restaurants along with many retail establishments within walking distance. To reserve a room at the DIT-MCO discounted rate of $85.00/night (plus tax), call (816) 350-3000 or book online using DIT-MCO corporate rate ID of 2623884. This rate is offered based on room availability. The Hilton Garden Inn offers outdoor free parking. The Hilton is approximately 20-25 minutes from DIT-MCO.
The Drury Inn & Suites Kansas City Stadium is located at 3830 Blue Ridge Cutoff Kansas City, MO 64133. This hotel offers a room rate of $75.00 per night (plus taxes) when booking with the DIT-MCO corporate ID.

The Holiday Inn Sports Complex is located just off Interstate-70 on the east side of Kansas City. To reserve a room at the DIT-MCO discounted rate of $65.00/night (plus tax), call (816) 353-5300. This rate is offered based on room availability. The Holiday Inn offers outdoor free parking. It is approximately 10-15 minutes from DIT-MCO.
You will want to make your hotel reservations at least 30 days prior to the first day of class to ensure room availability and receive the discounted rate. It is imperative that you; or whoever makes the reservations for you, inform the Hotel that you are a DIT-MCO customer attending our class. If you have any problems registering or obtaining the corporate rate, please contact DIT-MCO's training coordinator at (816) 444-9700.
Kansas City’s Tourist Information Center
The Tourist Information Center is a good place to go for information. Their number is (816) 889-3330. The Tourist Information Center is located in the parking lot of the Chiefs’ and Royals’ stadiums (4010 Blue Ridge Cutoff) and is open 7 days a week. You can find information on lots of things to do while you are in Kansas City. If you are attending class for two weeks, you may want to also visit other areas and they have brochures for all parts of the state of Missouri.
Tourist information is also available in DIT-MCO’s breakroom. You can find brochures on restaurants, sporting events, shops, and other entertainment.
